Russell V. Altenburg, Vice Chairman
University of California, Los Angeles
Mr. Altenburg is currently a graduate student at the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where he is pursuing a Master's degree in business administration, with an emphasis on finance and social enterprise. Before pursuing his MBA, Altenburg was Chief Operating Officer of nonprofit Students Helping Honduras, which helps orphaned and at-risk children in Honduras using the talents and energy of US college students. His responsibilities included strategic planning, marketing, fundraising, finance and investments. He previously worked for five years at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York advising corporate clients on foreign exchange risk management. While at J.P. Morgan, he served as co-President for the Diversity Action Council, served on various analyst mentoring committees, and was an active member of the Duke University recruiting team. He's also worked in JPMorgan's Community Development Group, at UBS PaineWebber and at Duke University Medical Center. He holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Economics from Duke University, and has also studied economics at Sydney University in Sydney, Australia.
Edward F. Branagan III, Executive Director
Central European University
Mr. Branagan is Project Director at Central European University's School of Public Policy and International Affairs (SPPIA) in Budapest, Hungary. He was previously a Project Manager and an Internal Consulting Analyst at J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. in New York, New York. He holds a Masters degree in International Relations, with a concentration in Conflict Management, from Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance, from the College of William & Mary. Mr. Branagan has studied at the Forester Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica, taught English to students in Zenica, Bosnia, studied at Johns Hopkins University's Bologna Center in Bologna, Italy, and completed a one-year Boren Fellowship in Russia.
S. Douglas Bunch, Chairman

Mr. Bunch is an associate at the Washington, DC law firm of Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll PLLC. He holds a law degree from the William & Mary School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Government and Classical Studies from the College of William & Mary. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. Mr. Bunch is Founder and Executive Director of Ascanius: The Youth Classics Institute, and has served on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages. He has also worked for the Virginia General Assembly, United States Congress, and United States Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights.
Rebecca M. Rollo
Marshall W. Errickson School, Freehold Township, NJ
Mrs. Rollo is currently in her seventh year of teaching, although she has left the urban district of New York City and recently began working as a fifth grade teacher in Freehold Township, NJ. Mrs. Rollo currently teaches in a team teaching inclusion model, known as "ICS" or "In Class Support." In the past, she also had experiences teaching both third and fourth grade, as well as serving as a kindergarten teaching assistant. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in both Childhood and Special Education from New York University in addition to a Masters of Arts degree in In-Service Childhood Education also from New York University. Mrs. Rollo has previously worked with schools in developing countries through her participation in NYU's Dean's Research Travel Colloquia and has served two terms on Global Playground's Advisory Committee.
Douglas A. Smith, Secretary
Colorado Supreme Court
Mr. Smith is a law clerk to The Honorable Monica M. Marquez of the Colorado Supreme Court. He holds a law degree from the William & Mary School of Law and a Master’s degree in International Political Economics and Bachelor’s degrees in International Economics and Finance and in Politics from The Catholic University of America. He has also served as a law clerk in Atlanta, Georgia to The Honorable Beverly B. Martin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and in Denver to The Honorable Richard L. Gabriel of the Colorado Court of Appeals. Prior to clerking for judges, Mr. Smith worked as an antitrust litigation associate at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York City. In addition, he has worked for the White House's Council of Economic Advisers, United States Congress, United States Department of Justice, Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
